However, not a single ITV game show at the time was directed by a woman.

This comes after it was recently announced that Alex will be a pitchside reporter in FIFA 22, making her the first-ever female voice to feature in the EA Sports video game.

Alex was rumored to replace Sue Barker on A Question Of Sport after she was fired earlier this year – but the role went to Paddy McGuinness.

And Alex also hosted the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 final draw ceremony at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse in October.
