Asics, Fila, Adidas, Nike unveil women’s Wimbledon 2022 outfits


Major tennis apparel companies Adidas, Fila, Nike and Asics have unveiled outfits designed to help their players feel good and perform at Wimbledon 2022.

Flattering silhouettes are made with sophisticated textures and state-of-the-art materials.

Iga Swiatek, the world No. 1 player, will wear a short-sleeved, round-neck top and a slightly pleated skirt, according to Asics.

Karolina Pliskova and Barbora Krejcikova, two Fila athletes, will present the latest iteration of the White Line collection, which is distinguished by vintage ribbed details and pinstripe lines.

The Fila White Line dress has a ribbed fabric underlay and an asymmetrical crossover layer. In addition, the neckline has a ribbed yoke.

Players can also pair the Fila White Line Skirt with one of three tops: the Fila White Line Short Sleeve Top with insert details on the shoulders and side panels and a curved hem; the Fila White Line Racerback tank top with Drop-Needle stripe detailing on the sides; or the Fila White Line full coverage tank top with pinstripe print on the front, body and back panels.

The newest Speedserve Energized model or the newest white and navy colorway of the Axilus 2 Energized will be worn by Fila women.

Through a partnership with Parley for the Oceans, Adidas continues its efforts to end plastic waste. Every garment in Adidas’ London Tennis collection is made in part from recycled coastal plastic, keeping it out of the ocean.

Elena Rybakina will wear an Adidas Parley London dress featuring an ergonomic Y-strap, yellow stripe at the front neckline and laser cut detailing.

The collection, marked by a combined adidas/Parley logo, also includes the Adidas Parley London Crop Tank, a racer-front design with a built-in bra and cross-back straps, and the Adidas Parley London Shorts, a waisted silhouette. high with an elastic waistband and two pleats on the front.

Both have subtle Morse code-inspired textures in the fabric equipped with moisture-wicking AEROREADY technology.

The Nike London collection, which features zippers, pleats and mesh panels, is set to be unveiled by Simona Halep, Petra Kvitova, Emma Raducanu, Paula Badosa, Sloane Stephens, Belinda Bencic and other NikeCourt reps.

The Nike London Slam Dress has vertical seams that resemble a corset, short sleeves and mesh on the upper chest and back. Meanwhile, the built-in shorts, elastic waistband, micro-pleating layers and curved hem of the Nike London Slam Skirt are all included.

Standard mesh panels are present on the sides and lower back of the Nike London Slam Tank to improve ventilation. For more ventilation, two zippers on the shoulders can be opened or left closed.
