PANAMA CITY – What started as an online store run by a local woman has grown into a full store in Bay County.
Gingham and Grace Boutique, located at 7526 State 77, celebrated its grand opening on Saturday. The public was invited to come out and enjoy food, games, prizes, and 20% off all merchandise in the store. The first 18 customers received “Gingham Gold,” which includes special offers for store merchandise.
Debbie Pierson founded Gingham and Grace in January, a Christian boutique run by Pierson’s closest family members. It all started as an online store and the business was operated from his nephew’s lawn care business. A few months later the business grew and Pierson made his dream come true with an official store and is now ready to invite the community to celebrate.
“I always thought it would be nice to have my own store someday because I grew up loving working with designs, so when my nephew asked me if I wanted to open this store, I was told. makes so much fun ”says Pierson.
Gingham and Grace sells a variety of merchandise including seasonal clothing, jewelry, candles, mugs, accessories, and holiday items. The store currently sells women’s clothing and accessories, but Pierson said she plans to add men’s and children’s clothing lines soon.
Vichy and Grace is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Pierson said the name of the store was suggested by her daughter and that she liked the idea of incorporating “the grace of God” into the name of her store. Pierson said she felt like she had been put in this position in her life to help people in the best possible way.
“Sometimes people come in and I can tell they’re in pain and they can usually open up to me,” Pierson said. “I just feel like the Lord is sending people to my store all the time to help them.”
