According to data compiled by the New York Police Department, there have been nearly 20,000 reports of grand larceny across the city to date.

In addition to the major thefts that have been reported, more than 44,000 petty thefts have been reported so far this year across the city.

The available data also includes reports on robberies, criminal assaults and burglaries.

This isn’t the only time the New York City Police Department has partnered with Crime Stoppers for information on investigations.

A police chase that took place after officers attempted to pull a car into a car with excessively tinted windows left at least 11 people injured.

The car reportedly tried to flee but hit seven other cars before escaping.

Video showed the car colliding with other vehicles before it managed to pull away, but the driver eventually abandoned it a few blocks away.

Another investigation involved a shirtless man who allegedly threw hot liquid unprovoked at a stranger, resulting in the victim suffering second-degree burns.

Video captured the moment the shirtless man ran behind the victim before pouring the liquid on his back. The victim turned around quickly before falling backwards and collapsing.

The department shared another video showing a person approaching a group of people outside a grocery store before beginning to fire a weapon.

Four people were injured in the incident, but none were seriously injured.
