Women’s Scottish Open 2022 purse and payment:
The Ladies European Tour (LET) has announced that the Women’s Scottish Open 2022 scholarship will be worth $2 million. The winner will receive the standard 15% of the overall scholarship amounting to US$300,000.
Last year, in 2021, the purse for the same tournament was $1.5 million while the winner, Ryann O’Toole received $225,000. Along with many other tournaments on the women’s circuit, the Scottish Open has also increased its purse for this year. This year’s edition has an additional $500,000 purse and the winner will receive an additional $75,000.
There are other incentives for winning the event. The winner will receive 500 Race to the CME Globe leaderboard points. The top 60 players on the final leaderboard compete in the CME Globe Tour Championship, the final event of the season, for a $1.5 million prize.
To be eligible for a share of the Women’s Scottish Open 2022 scholarship, a participant must place in the top 70. The 1st and 2nd runners-up will receive $186,096 and $135,000 respectively while the 70th entrant will receive $4,076 from the entire Women’s Scottish Open. bag.
