Jennifer Lawrence made a viral entrance to New York Fashion Week this weekend, thanks to Simon Miller.
Arriving at the brand’s Spring 2023 presentation, Lawrence strolled around the neighborhood in a sleek black bodycon dress. The Oscar-winning actress $295 Lubos Number From the Miller Fall 2022 collection, featuring a stretchy, knee-length silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. The padded built-in cups also gave the piece more ease and comfort. Lawrence’s look was complete with an array of whimsical accessories, including oval-shaped black sunglasses and two gold necklaces; one with a large turquoise stone, the other with a delicate chain strung with charms.
The actress also wore a metallic gold version of Miller’s Lopsy top-handle bag, a $295 model featuring a cushioned lamé construction and a knotted top handle. Her outfit was vibrantly completed with a set of the brand’s Ghost sandals, featuring neon green uppers with strappy detailing and 3.93-inch wedge heels. Although her style is currently unavailable, other shades are currently sold on Miller’s website. The style brought a nonchalant ease to Lawrence’s outfit, creating a punchy ensemble paired with statement pieces for a flowing moment of style.
The occasion marked Lawrence’s New York Fashion Week debut; Previously, the ‘Hunger Games’ star has mainly attended Paris shows for Dior and Miu Miu since 2011. She has also continued Miller’s growing list of shoe accomplishments, following the launch of the brand’s collaboration with the actress Tommy Dorfman earlier this month, with extended sizes of her popular Bubble, High Raid and High Mojo clogs.

This season, the focus has been on the brand’s famous slip-on platform sandals, featuring rounded, flat bubble soles; Miller’s signature love of texture also showed through additions of raffia, quilting and rows of beads. Round toe mules and wedges with stripes, metallic tones and PVC straps also added a quirky touch to the range. With a bright palette that included classic whites and a range of orange, blue and green hues, the collection brought a beach-worthy twist to Miller’s upbeat design repertoire.
