An NBA player needs your help, golf community.
We call Kent Bazemore a professional basketball player because that’s where he makes his living. This season, he was an occasional starter for LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers. But it’s his daily job. That’s what he’d probably tell you on the first tee during the introductory handshakes. During the off-season, it’s golf season. If he doesn’t shoot deep, he hits him.
He was a special guest at this year’s US Women’s Open media day at Pine Needles. He has a simulator at home. At @kennybaze on Instagram, of his nine most recent photos, five feature golf.
But Friday morning’s social media posts weren’t photos of him playing with friends or in a class. The first was a note. Then a picture. It was also not something you wanted to share, but had to share.
“Someone stole my golf clubs” he wrote on Twitter and posted on his Instagram story. “It’s a pain that I can’t explain.”
In the next slide on his story, there was a photo of the clubs. They were in a gray Birdiecorn golf bag. The irons appear to be TaylorMade and its driver has Kobe Bryant headgear. There is a blue Under Armor towel hanging from the bag.
And they left. But not lost. And that’s where you come in. If you know where they are…
“I have a good check for whoever gets them back,” he wrote below the clubs photo.
