PLEASANT PRAIRIE – Police are looking for two women who allegedly stole merchandise from a Premium Outlets shoe and clothing store, then assaulted an off-duty store employee who attempted to photograph their actions on Monday evening.

According to Sgt. Mike Alger of the Pleasant Prairie Police Department.

“An employee who was not on the clock in the parking lot tried to take pictures and they beat her in the parking lot,” Algiers said. “They also took his phone. They hinted that they had a gun and maybe they were going to use it.”

The victim had minor bruises and paramedics attended to her at the scene where she was treated and released, Algiers said.

The suspects set off in a sedan from the mall parking lot and were last seen heading south along the main road off Interstate 94. Algiers said police were continuing to develop information about suspects and the vehicle and examined several security cameras formed at the parking lots. and stores on site.
