Rosario Dawson on Kate Spade’s versatile beauty and the brand’s “understanding” for dressing women

Celebrating women is a recurring theme in Rosario Dawson, especially when it comes to fashion. The interactive fashion event, meant to capture the essence of an at-home party, was held in a multi-level SoHo townhouse, with the brightly colored, geometric and floral collection dotted throughout the venue.

When asked why Dawson had been a staunch supporter of Kate Spade over the years, the star said the brand’s ideals aligned with her own values.

“Kate Spade has been really great at talking about women’s empowerment, talking about mental health issues…so it’s a brand that has a lot of appreciation and understanding for the women they dress and for the whole of her,” she explained. “Whether she’s staying home or feeling good and vibrant and on the go, [Kate Spade] always spark that joy and see it for itself, which I love.
