HAMMOND, Louisiana – Southeastern Louisiana University football team, Southland Conference champions, to host an NCAA FCS playoff game, Lady Lions volleyball team, Southland Conference champions, to find out their destination for the tournament from the NCAA, while the SLU men’s and women’s basketball teams will continue non-conference play this week at Southeastern Athletics. .
Southeastern (8-3) will be making its fifth FCS playoff trip and its third in the last four seasons. The Lions host Idaho (7-4) Saturday at 6 p.m. at Strawberry Stadium. Saturday’s winner will face sixth-seeded Samford on Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Lady Lion volleyball team (25-7) clinched their ticket to their first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Southland Conference Tournament. SLU will find out their opponent and destination in the playoffs on Sunday’s draft show at 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
SLU’s men’s basketball team (3-3) will return home after a five-game road swing that saw the Lions defeat Wyoming and Campbell. Southeastern will host William Carey on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the University Center. Fans will have the opportunity to receive autographs from their favorite Lions after the game.
The Southeast women’s basketball team (2-2) has two games on the schedule this week. The Lady Lions open the week on the road, traveling to southern Alabama for a 7 p.m. contest on Tuesday. SLU returns home Friday to welcome Dillard at 7 p.m. Taylor Dupree is the star player of the game and the first 150 fans will receive a trading card featuring the Brandon, Mississippi native, courtesy of PRIDE.
Saturday’s football game and Tuesday’s women’s basketball game will be televised on ESPN+. The SLU football game against Idaho can also be heard live in the Hammond area on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM / 1400 AM).

Hosted by Scelfo and Allen Waddell, the hour-long show will feature the latest in all things Lion Football.
For House Pizza and Beer Garden (505 W. Thomas St.) will serve as host for the remainder of the season and the show will air from For House Mondays at 7 p.m. until the end of the season.
