Tickets now available for Holland City Center Girls’ Weekend

HOLLAND – Registration is officially open for the annual Holland City Center Girlfriends Weekend.

The event will take place from Friday to Sunday, March 4-6, when women are invited to celebrate their friendships by shopping, wine, dining and indulging in downtown Holland.

Registration is $45 per person and includes a goody bag, store and restaurant savings coupon book, chance to win giveaways, and access to live music, hands-on activities and classes at participating merchants.

“Girlfriends Weekend was originally designed to give our merchants a boost during a slower time of year,” said marketing coordinator Kara de Alvare. “But it really became something much bigger than that. Some women have been there every year since 2009 (and they) tell us how much this weekend means to them every year.

Registration for Girlfriends Weekend is $45 per person and includes a bag of goodies, a coupon book for savings in stores and restaurants, the chance to win gifts and access to live music, hands-on activities and classes at participating merchants.

“For so many women, Girlfriends Weekend offers them a very rare opportunity to finally relax, reconnect and recharge. And we are honored to be able to offer this opportunity here in downtown Holland.”

The weekend begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, when attendees can enjoy a complimentary mimosa at the Courtyard by Marriott on Eighth Street while checking in and picking up their name badges, bags, brochure and event tickets. ‘event. That evening, visitors are invited to “Friday Night Live!” The event includes several bars and restaurants, each offering live music and drink specials from 8-11 p.m.

During Girlfriends Weekend, women are invited to celebrate their friendships by shopping, wine, dining and indulging in downtown Holland.

The next morning will include breakfast and a fashion show at the newly renovated Haworth Hotel and Conference Center. The high-energy show will highlight the latest spring collections of clothing, shoes, jewelry and other accessories from boutiques in downtown Holland. Tickets for the event are $25 with registration.

Holland Civic Center Place will host a sleepover that night, complete with a DJ, dancing, a free photo booth, party favors and a cash bar. Tickets are $10 each with registration.

Advance registration is required for Girlfriends Weekend and does not include accommodation, which is available at Teerman Lofts, Courtyard by Marriott, Haworth Hotel and CityFlatsHotel.
