Vanessa Hudgens brought a savvy take on all-black style while promoting Versace’s latest it-bag, complete with a bold shoe to match.

Posing in a series of Instagram photos, Hudgens showed off the Italian brand’s new $2,895 Greca Goddess handbag — a curved black leather shoulder bag with gold chain detailing and a convertible shoulder strap. For the occasion, she teamed the bag with an equally sharp outfit: a cropped black short-sleeved cardigan and baggy cargo pants, creating a wide cut-out silhouette. Hudgens’ outfit was completed with aviator sunglasses, hoop earrings and her Cartier Love bracelet, as well as Foundrae’s Mixed Clip Chain necklace accented with her own vintage Queen Nefertiti charm.

The “Tick, tick… Boom!” The actress completed her outfit with a punchy set of Balenciaga mules. Her $890 Cagole style featured leather uppers with rounded soles, 2-inch heels and curved straps, with silver buckled hardware. If the style looks surprisingly familiar, that’s because it is; the pair is inspired by the French brand’s Le Cagole handbag from the mid-2000s and features the same metallic details. Hudgens’ ensemble punctuated her dark outfit with a bold pop of color, as well as metallic accents that softly complemented her jewelry and handbag.

However, that wasn’t Hudgens’ only bold shoe moment of late. In August, the star posed for a photo on Instagram with close friend GG Magree.

When it comes to footwear, Hudgens’ favorite styles range from sleek to sporty. The ‘Gimme Shelter’ actress often wears chunky sneakers for casual looks and the gym, from brands like Naked Wolfe and Mercer Amsterdam. When she hits the red carpet, she usually wears pointy toe pumps and platforms from Miu Miu, Manolo Blahnik, Brian Atwood and Stuart Weitzman. Hudgens also mixes up affordable styles in her off-duty wardrobe, such as Tkees flip-flops, Crocs clogs and Adidas slides that all sell for under $50. She also appeared in Vol. by Savage X Fenty. 3 fashion shows, as well as front rows for brands like Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera and Anna Sui during New York Fashion Week.
